Welcome to my E-Portfolio

About Me

I’m a 2006 graduate of UW-Stout (Technology Education). While at Stout I was a varsity member of the Cross Country and track programs. After graduation I started my teaching career at Rosemount High School in Minnesota. I taught courses like engineering, manufacturing technology, small engines, fabrication, digital graphics, and photography. I was also at cross country and track coach at Rosemount High. Now that I’m back at Stout I’m pursuing my Master’s degree in Information and Communication Technology with an emphasis in Visual Communications. I’m also coaching Cross Country and Track &Field here at Stout.

Definition of ICT

The World Bank defines ICT as consisting of the hardware, software, networks, and media for the collection, storage, processing, transmission and presentation of information (voice, data, text, images), as well as related services. [The World Bank]

I define ICT as the processes and technologies uses to communication with one another in a technological diverse society. These devices and processes could range from a telephone call to a video conference and from a face-to-face conversation to a conversation with someone on the other side of the world.

My goal is to develop a high level of professional skill and knowledge in the field of Information Communication Technology. My concentration will be on digital and print media creation. I also hope to improve my knowledge in computer system troubleshooting and repair.
